Ratings are IMDb-style audience scores on a 10-point scale. You compare the hidden title against the known one — higher or lower. Tie values are excluded from the same round, and our expanded pool reduces duplicate scores.

Ratings snapshot

Scores are drawn from a curated IMDb public ratings snapshot with over 200 titles, ranging roughly 1.7–9.3. Each entry includes a short trivia line shown after reveal. Live IMDb votes may drift; we freeze values so your streak is fair.

Franchise fatigue matters: late sequels and spin-offs tend lower than originals. Oscar Best Picture winners cluster high but are not unbeatable — some crowd-pleasers outscore prestige darlings.
