How scoring works

Each channel has a snapshot subscriber count. Guess whether the hidden creator has more or fewer subscribers than the known one. Correct guesses extend your streak; one wrong answer ends the run in endless mode.

Counts are rounded for display (e.g. 321M subs) but comparisons use the underlying numbers — a tight call between two mid-tier creators can hinge on a few hundred thousand subs.

Why subscriber counts fool everyone

Headline fame and sub count diverge constantly. Music Vevo channels, Indian TV clip farms, and kids' toy channels quietly sit above gaming icons you grew up watching. MrBeast rewrote the scale, but Casey Neistat's influence does not map 1:1 to subscribers.

Regional giants dominate: SET India, Zee Music, and JuegaGerman rack up numbers Western players underestimate. K-pop labels (HYBE, BLACKPINK) punch above English-language creators in raw totals.

Curated pairs pit megastars against cult favorites, legacy creators against Gen Z breakout channels, and education against entertainment — the gaps are meant to surprise.

Subscriber figures are editorial snapshots based on publicly visible YouTube counts, not live API pulls. YouTube rounds displayed totals and channels fluctuate daily — we freeze values so your streak stays fair.
